CB750 K7 PD carb float adjustment
« on: July 29, 2015, 08:54:16 PM »
In this Clymer manual, it shows to measure the float height from the front of the float to the base on the old K0-6 carbs. Is it the same on the plastic float PD carbs? Also, it gives a range of 14-15 mm - which is optimal?
If it's worth doing, it's worth doing twice.

For the flat PD floats, set the flat of the float to match the same height as the top of the press in pilot jet as it just contacts the float tang.
Also, harisuluv posted this great pictorial on how to see if your floats are symmetrical/balanced.  Its good stuff.
