in Michigan you have to have permission from the preist, father, preacher,or who ever is in charge(not god)

If it's hunting season, one is expected to carry guns to church in Michigan.

Canadians have to keep returning to the states because our booze and cigarettes are cheaper there.

Perks of living close to the border!

But damn that exchange rate. It has been going up steadily since I bought my bike. Coincidence.........?
No coincidence; it's plainly all your fault. ;D

Have you read many news articles about the participants and victims in the shootings in Chicago? I have, a lot of them involve young people that get caught up when they stumble into different gang territory because their charter school is clear across town.

But, I am sure in your strawman argument that 'All we need is a good guy with a gun' and arm these young youths as they are forced to venture outside their neighborhood that would solve all the gang problems in Cheecago.

http://www.chicagojustice.org/blog/yes-institutional-violence-does-exist-and-it-exacerbates-youth-violence
I was born just outside Chicago, lived there, have family there, and travel there for business often. Never have I witnessed that the horrific gun violence there is attributed to students who are simply waging a turf war over Intramural Sports outcomes, Library cards, or someone having cut in line at lunch time. Here all this time I associated the victims with wars of cash to rival Donald Trumps stuffed in their pockets, baggies of crack, heroin, weed or pills, and semi auto pistols jammed down their pants as clear indicators of gang association. How naive of me!

There is no disputing that innocent citizens are tragically caught up in this urban crossfire of criminals conducting violence on their competitors. It's very similar to the mob violence during Prohibition and thru the late '70s. To underscore "intentional neglect in education and Charter school bias" as significant cause is grasping at a comets tail. As I said, you ought to write science fiction.

I know most of the violence there and other places is mostly attributed to the failed war on drugs- I get that. The increase in violence towards school aged children there due to rise of charter schools over the past decade or more can't be denied, it is happening. But to say it is not happening there is just burying your head in the sand. Children are being killed there because they have to venture to other neighborhoods where there are gang presence and they are just trying to get and education.

And for you to make light of children being killed due to circumstances beyond their control says a lot about you to me. Shame on you.
