Thank you for the generous offer. My understanding is that the San Remo rims were very lightweight compared to the other shouldered rims available. As a result, they are not considered to be as tough as a thicker Borrani/Akront, etc rim of the same size. I am putting together a cb750 based road racer for my 6'3" frame to ride, and I could use all the strength and stability I can get. Please correct me if I am misinformed. For now I will hold off for one of the tougher rims. Your rim would be perfect for a dragbike or land speed bike though.
I have a lead on a 60s vintage BSA small hub rear with a 40 hole Borrani- Record WM3 x 18 that would be perfect for me. Hopefully this will work out.
I am looking for two front rims overall though.
