New project '79 CB650Z tracker
« on: July 31, 2015, 11:25:55 AM »
As my CB750 cafe is finished I was looking out for a new project: a tracker for my lady !

Our inspiration.

Bought 1,5 CB650Z  1 frame with title, tank and seperate engine. 1 complete CB without title.

The plan: making sure the complete cb will run, ride, brake etc. Clean up and paint the title frame and fit a tracker seat. Then build the working engine, wiring, wheels brakes etc to the tracker.

Started solving some wiring issues and cleaning out the carbs the PO said he already cleaned .....
And we got a runner

Tried the tracker seat I bought.

That's where we are today !

Thinking of mounting Heidenau K60 tires, any good or negative advise on these ?

Interesting project.  I think I am obsessed with the CB650 engine presently.  ;)
