Any tips on transporting engine
« on: August 05, 2015, 09:58:29 AM »
I am taking the bike and parts to a shop to have them finish it cause I lost motivation a couple years ago to finish the CB350F.  I am going to have to bring the engine over in my car which is a hyundai veloster turbo.  Does anyone have any tips/tricks on transporting an engine or just use alot of blankets? LOL

towels/blanks.... yes.
support it on all sides so it doesnt roll and break fins or covers as you whip around corners in that thing.

A "Basket Case" is what you are delivering to the builder....  Hence using a tub or basket to contain your parts is a good idea so they are not easily lost by the builder who might have other engines in process at one time...  More containment and identification is better than less.
