520 chain (& sprockets) saves weight too and takes less juice to spin. Come on Don dig deep. What a prick huh?
Oh well done. I was joking of course but 520's are more than enough chain plus the combined weight savings including alloy rear sprocket is significant. They obviously won't last as long as a steel 530 but good chains and hard anodizing helps.
My new Cognitomoto rear disc hub?The machining is exquisite!2 lbs heavier than a stock drum hub, but lighter than a CB750F disc hub (with disc and caliper, because the old hefty rotor, caliper and bracket).
Exquisite is right. That's some serious programming.Any reason why Devin didn't increase the distance between the spoke flanges?There should be lots of room to move them out. Much stronger wheel and better suited to wide rims.
Stock fitment. This hub is far stronger than stock already. Wide rims don't require different spacing on the spoke flange because the rim is centered tensioned, remember. If you spread the flanges, you'd need completely different hole geometry and likely non-stock spokes, and then you'd have to modify the Cush drive. No point, no value in it.
