HD clutch springs

Hi all. what options are there for HD clutch springs (750/400) ? I tried a set of EBC CSK004s and they're only slightly stiffer than some pretty old stockers. I see Barnett do some but am yet to find a European supplier, what else is out there?

A thick washer will add pressure to the stockers.......................

I think I have EBC HD springs in my CB750. I bought them with an 8 disc clutch 1988.
I tried shorter and very stiff ones last year after first start since 1990 and fresh restore.

I went back to my old not much used springs that are longer and not that stiff. I have washers under them.

Barnett springs are often recommended here

Thanks PeWe, but alas it isn't really worth getting stuff from the US due to the US to UK import costs nowdays- by the time I've paid shipping, duty, VAT (both on the shipping too), collection fee and tax handling fee, the last $20 item I bought cost me over $100 to get it home. Any Euro suppliers out there?  The UK importer for Barnett only does modern bikes parts. Tried the washers too, work for a while but then the springs get distorted & soft.

HD EBC springs are often on UK Ebay, do a search for Honda CB750 in the Motorcycle spares section. 
I'm only old on the outside.

Thanks teebee, yes those are the ones that I have already bought.  They are not all that much heavier - packet claims 10% but I'd argue that! 

So it seems there are no other manufacturers left for these for CBs except Barnett or EBC. Kinda awkward for us euro people. I wonder if any other bikes ones have been found to work?

I've read that its really not the springs that are the problem, using Barnett springs makes the clutch heavy, APE have a clutch pack thats supposed to work very well, try dropping member "Big Jay a PM and asking, he owns APE... ;)

I compared stock K1 to stock K7 springs. The free length of the K1 springs was about 2mm longer than the K7, but the K7 were wound with thicker wire. With the K7 springs shimmed to the same length, the K1 springs compressed 3mm more with the same load applied. Check out my improvised spring tester, and the appropriate weight used for the standard load. ;D

I do not get any additional import costs as long as the total (goods + shipping) is under $50US. (Sweden)

Order stuff from UK is usually good when shipping is usually good. Spark plugs and wiring cost half compared with here.

Thanks all. Scottly, good call, I got a set of those from DSS,  (part no is 22401 410 000 in case anyone else wants some) & fitted them to the 750 today- yes definitely sorted, they are usefully stiffer than the EBC 004s. I'll get a set for the 460 too. 

Pewe -total here including shipping is only £15, any more & its all taxes and fees to pay... so Sweden is much better...  but beer is cheaper here.
