« on: August 06, 2015, 09:49:41 AM »
Hi guys, I'm looking to replace my clutch from my 77 CB550F found this set but confused on the discription. it says
CB550F Super Sport - 1975-1977 - 7 clutch discs needed (6 are the same and 1 is different) so do I have to get another different plate? or everything is there already?   :-\

I just put my clutch together using that same part for a 76 CB550K. The kit comes with 7 plates, 6+1 (the top plate has different teeth). So all plates you need is in that kit. (Of course I had the luxury of having the engine in pieces and counted the plates before I ordered. If in doubt you can always order CK1147 that has an extra disc.)

Here's a pic. You can see that the top plate has fatter teeth.

Edit: Don't forget to soak the plates in motor oil before you install them.
