Rebuilding a CB
« on: August 06, 2015, 09:22:27 PM »
Hello All,

I found this website maybe a week ago and I was blown away at this amazing resource. I just got back in touch with a '73 Honda CB750 I bought 5 years ago. I bought it out of a barn in Grants Pass Oregon, took it apart... and deployed to Afghanistan. I'm lucky I had a good friend that held on to it for me. But finally, Through a deployment, college, and getting a job, I have the means to start a project, and build my dream bike!

I looking forward to buying parts and getting greasy, I think I found a good place for support.

Cheers!

Welcome and thank you for your service.

You can download shop manual here:

Also local guru Hondaman wrote a book on the very same topic:

http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php/topic,65293.0.html

wel worth the money for total rebuild.

And of course, your questions will be answered in the forum plus often you can find parts from other members for good price.

Glad you made it back! Welcome, and thanks to you and all our servicemen (and women!).  8)

That's a good friend to hold that for you. I find wrenching on these old machines very therapeutic. Lots of good info here and very knowledgeable members willing to help.

We might bust your chops from time to time, so bring a sense of humor!  ;)
