hi guys don't think i read the label on the can just took delivery of a 1976 cb500t which will not be a sohc its a dohc is it not? my apologies

It is a DOHC. There's also a section for "other bikes" here and the "projects" section is littered with non-SOHC bikes, so don't be shy.
