Okay folks, I hope this post is acceptable to the admins. Its directly related to racing and I do plan to attend myself. In fact, i'm the president of the CSRA Dragbike Association and we're helping with the race coordination at this event. I'll have my Honda there and hope to get Bill Benton to come down with me to race in the ET bracket class.

See the attached flyer for details. This is the 38th year this event is being held and its taking place right near me in Darlington,SC. Its only the 2 time Roundup has been hosted in SC and i'm excited. Its an all motorcycle field event and has a lot of history. Come hang out and hae some fun.

FRANK: These folks would be in for a real treat to come to this event, as I have been to and raced at the ones around my neck of the woods...... fire up the grill and let's eat was another reason I like to run at this type of a " GOOD-OLD DAY AT THE TRACK ".  Sad to say these days are as hard to find as a FOUR LEAF CLOVER .

I sure hope you guys consider coming down Jim. Trust me, this event is BIG as far as all bike, field events are concerned. Do some research on the history. Its multi generational, racially diverse and encompasses all socio-economic boundaries.

I'm going to work on getting sponsorship from local bike dealers to see if they'll contributed money to add to the already guaranteed purses. It'll be a fun event and a tune up for the Rockingham Cup race.

I can still taste the food that ' THE CHURCH LADIES ' had cooked and me and my four sons had a Great Day in the FIELDS EVENT put on by the " FLAMES MOTORCYCLE CLUB " man those Brothers put on a event, you know what I mean !!!!!.     LONG AGO

Pops,

We're going to fellowship with other riders from all across the country, eat some good food and do a little racing on the side. This event is all about the FUN.

FRANK: What is the ET. RULE for street bike class ???  A track in OHIO banded the TURTLE as the boyz could not put its numbers in their boxes and they hated that 1319' line I met them at = no side by side at 1000' womping and tapping their brakes, they broke out...... seen VIC FORCE take them down at the ROCK many times on his 450cc HONDAMATIC.  I would like to see Johnnie Locklear make some runs as he was a bad boy from your neck of the woods that MSP had big time SATURDAY NIGHT $$$$$$$ races with at PRO-STAR event.

Pops, this is going to be a very casual event. As in, ET is run what you brung as long as you meet safety requirements, bars, no bars- all okay. The Turtle is more than welcome at this event. We're here to have fun, not beat you down with rules.

At Darlington dragway for the National Bikers roundup. Made a pass on the F model last night. Only ran a 10.66@ 120mph. Maybe I do need change out my stock petcock for a bigger one.
