I have 1977 hondamatic and I have few issues with the wiring harness. i'm about to buy new harness from vintage750.com.(

my question is I have 1977 bike with 1976 parking break switch.
1. should I buy 1976 harness or 1977 harness?
2. if I buy 1977/1978 harness can I convert the brake switch to work with 1977 harness (I check the wiring diagram and only one wire is the different (green wire))
what should I buy to keep the things I have and make things work.
