Carb vent 'T's missing
« on: August 11, 2015, 10:24:39 AM »
'81 CB650 (new to me)
The vent tubes between carbs 1/2 and 3/4 have been previously removed for some reason and explains why I couldn't figure out where the vent tube from the airbox went.  See pic.  Are these connections required for proper running?  I'm cleaning the carbs now and wondered if I should split them and replace these connections.

I'm no carb expert, but those tees were originally there, and attached to the vent tubes for a reason, likely for reducing turbulence.

I say put them on.
