Hi All,
I recently laced my wheels according to the instructions found here in the FAQ and now I am about to true them up.
I have them pretty darn close to being in spec with all spokes being tight and plan to setup the dial indicator tonight
My one question is related to the nipple/spoke interaction.Even though all spokes are tight, and "Ping" and ring about the same tone, Some of the spokes still show some thread outside of the nipple on the inside where as others do not. To be clear, the thread that is showing is where the spoke connects to nipple and I don't mean they are all the way through.
Is this an issue? Should all spokes be threaded to a point that they do not show any thread?
