Don't fix it if it ain't broke!

Here is a pic I hadn't posted before. Notice the surface of the track; you can see the different lines commonly taken through the turn. K.R. is clearly in the groove. ;D

Even ballsier was that night at the Indy Mile in 2009 (I think) when he road the TZ750 flat tracker.

+1
I saw a vid of that too, it was the first time I heard a TZ750 run and it just blew me away.

That guy doesn't pussyfoot around.  To not ride a motorcycle for a year and then get on a TZ750 Death Machine and rip it around the Indy Mile in front of thousands takes uncommon skill and balls.

Saw Kenny Roberts in the subject line and that got my attention.   I enjoyed seeing Roberts ride again.  I have a print of him riding the TZ700 dirt tracker hanging over my couch.  I am smiling for the rest of the evening.

I noticed Valentino Rossi in the Indy Mile vid too, I wonder if he took the TZ for a spin as well ..... or maybe Yamaha wouldn't let him get on it.

Yeah.  The story is that Valentino was going to take the TZ750 for a lap after KR, but decided it was Kenny's night.  Whoever made the decision, it was the right decision.
