CB350F Relpacing Chain
« on: August 14, 2015, 11:52:27 AM »
My Clymer manual says how to adjust a chain but nothing about how to install a new one.  Where is a good resource for this?  I have a chain, breaker tool, and connector link.  Just not sure where to cut and how to measure to make sure it is tensioned properly.

Secure your wheel/axle at the front third of the indicator marks on the swingarm.
On the left side of your bike, the indicator on the chain tensioner would be at the bold mark   front<--  iiiiiIiiiiiiiiiiiiii  --> rear
Loop the chain over the front sprocket and around your rear sprocket.
Measure twice, cut once.
Install the masterlink, side plate and clip
Properly tension the chain.

set the wheel all the way toward the engine, cut the old chain, tie the new chain to the old chain, rotate wheel until old chain is off and new is on, cut off excess links and use chain link to finish.
