I've gotten all the sub-assemblies ready to be assembled and thought this would be fun...it was for about 20 minutes and then I got lazy and just kept the various smaller parts in the bags...I did both sets of tins but the CBG one's are original. I had to do a major refurb of the original airbox but it's serviceable now, the original sidecovers are decent, the red ones are repops except for the tank, headlight bucket and ears. The pipes are 341's, the rear fender is not great but the other stuff including the engine are original. I freshened the engine with new primary chains, tensioner, cam drive chain and tensioner, bearings and seals, I'd done the head 20 years ago with the first build and kept the rings/pistons as run. It has 98k on it and the hatch marks are still in the bores...The paint is all fresh except for the CBG tank, I left that with the factory paint and all the warts it has gotten since 1969, couldn't bring myself to strip it off as it's the first paint it ever saw...those who have done it know what this is like...and the value of these parts seperately, geez, there are some dreamers out there, huh?should be done in another few days work...
