40 chevy
« on: August 26, 2015, 09:46:12 PM »
My 4 year old granddaughter and I removed the running boards from my 40 chevy coupe today to begin replacing the rocker panels. I realized I welded the inside and the floor with an oxy/acetylene  torch 40 years ago. dang, wish I did it right the first time, it would have lasted longer.
She asked to help  fix a car so what could I say? Usually she wants to work on a motorcycle.

Yep, her Mom drove a Jr Dragster and has shown her Hubby how to fix things. She could mig weld at 12. My girls have thanked me for giving them the tools to make their way through the world and not feel helpless when something breaks.
