Jaws action figures
« on: August 10, 2015, 07:32:35 AM »
This is one of my favorite movies, and it's a movie that is just as big a part of 70's culture as these bikes. I found these action figures last night. They're available on Amazon and eBay. Needless to say, I bought a set for myself...

Does it come with a boat or the floaties/buoys that were harpooned to the shark?

As far as I can find, this is the only other figure set:

I don't think the Orca or anything else is available at this time.

Should I feel bad if I root for the shark?

Here's a fun fact:

The mechanical shark prop from Jaws rarely worked the way it was supposed to and therefor was not-so-affectionately nick-named "Bruce" after Steven Spielberg's lawyer. What was the name of the great white in Finding Nemo? Bruce.

Well-played, Pixar. Well-played indeed.

That's the only action figure I would buy!

Those are just friggin' brilliant!

All they need is a shark cage for Hooper!

(And a little chalkboard for Quint!) :D
