What O-Rings for CB750 Carb Connecting Tube
« on: August 16, 2015, 11:02:29 AM »
Trying to figure out what the right size o-rings are for the carb connecting tubes.

I have changed these at least 3 times and after the bike sits for a month or so and I turn the gas back on, here comes the gas flowing like wine out of the connecting tubes. I think I've been using 7x11x2 cause that's all I have. Though after doing a little reading it seems like I need 8x2, is that right?

If you know the proper size that are also fuel resistant that would help me a bunch. Thanks!

Which carbs?
The K0K6/F0 carbs use 2x8mm, minimum thickness 1.9x7.9.

1974 carbs 657B.

I could swear I've tried 8x2 in the past but they don't want to fit back in the carb easy.

Nope, they are a tight fit! They have to be...wet them on the way in. I use spit, works great!
