In my experience:
cb550 carbs in working restored polished condition = $200
cb750 "                                                   "        = $100 or less

OK, I have looked all over these carbs and I dont see and identifying numbers or markings other then "KEI * HIN JAPAN."  I know the complete set are 550's because they are too small for my 750, but not by much.  They guy I got them from said all the parts were from 550's and 750's.  Unfortunately that does not help me with the year.   ???

You should be able to find 069A stamped into the side carb where it bolts to the mounting plate - thats if they are 550F which they look like to me. The K series are different.
In the UK anything over 40 years old only needs insurance and Fuel.

I'd keep the coils, "just in case"

yours may quit in time
(or just replace with new electronic system)
