'76 750F rear brake kit ?
« on: August 09, 2015, 06:32:38 PM »

I can't seem to locate a rear brake kit for the 750F.  (Well...one for $100.00)
Will a  '75 GL1000 unit work?

thank you...

  Thanks guys....

I installed the rear brake kit, no workey...I think I  installed something wrong,  probably the primary/secondary caps..

I was cussin' the whole time,  I can't see any detail on the manual pages (Clymer and Honda manuals)
to tell exactly how things should be, which way to install the parts.
I blow up the page and lose more detail.
I don't have old parts to compare.

Does anyone have a clear page of the 750F rear master cylinder?

thanks,

 Thank you...

Did you notice there is not any detail on how the rubber cups are positioned?
They show the parts of the MC as a set. Blowing up the page does not help.
Lot's of white space on the page is wasted....

BTW...what is the purpose of the MC plug  bolt?

Donny; Hate to ask a silly question, but which section are you looking at? I have 24 sections but don't see the rear set-up in any of them. Maybe I didn't download that 1 since my bike came hard tailed and with a drum brake. Yep I just went and looked, I didn't download All of them. I have to use "Dial-Up" to access the internet so I only download what I need at the time , LOL. Which particular part No#'s are you referring to ? Since my was modified to a drum brake , don't know if I can help. But this will keep moving the thread to the top.   ...cougar...
