G'day, how's it going

What do you put on the thread of the aluminum  adapter that connects the carbys to the inlet rubbers.

Please and thanks

Cool ta.  I just licked the ring and screwed it.

Sounds about right doesn't it?

Do you have a standard petcock.  If so how did you go from the petcock size fuel line to the carby size.  Maybe 6 to 8mm

Thanks for your time

One of mine has shrink tube over the poly fuel line, shrunk it down and holds it tight.
No matter how many times you paint over a shadow, it's still there.

Thanks Don

I looked on ebay last night and with the correct wording I found a straight through adapter that goes from 6mm to 8mm.  I also ordered a 6mm T to get both my 6mm fuel lines into 1 before I adapt it to 8mm.  I bought a selection of plastic and brass so hopefully I can make something out of it.

Have a good one

that easy, slip a piece of thin tubing over the 6mm fitting, and the 8mm tube over it. done :)
