I have done a complete rebuild of my CB 350 Four engine and carbs, and it runs fine :)

The oil lamp goes off just as the engine starts. When I turn the engine off, the light
allways use about 5 seconds before it lights on. I believe this is because the oil pressure
is not released momentarily.

Thanks!

greetings,

Is this a question or a statement?

Oil light staying off for 5 seconds is good. It means the pressure is leaking away slowly.

If the oil lamp is staying on after you turn off   the engine, than you must be using the ignition cut-off switch on the R/H control assy.  The switch is made for emergency use, not frequent, and will fail if used much.  The control switches are scarce, expinsive & difficult to replace as the wiring goes inside the handlebar.  You   have been warned!
Cheers, Don Psycle Madden.
