1970 CB750K breather tubes
« on: August 27, 2015, 09:51:45 AM »
The lower breather hose from the oil seperator (on back of oil tank) on my '70 CB750 is missing. I need to know the size and length of this hose, and how it is routed.

The small breather hose at the bottom of the engine is missing as well, and  need the same info.

Both of these are NLA from Honda.

Thanks in advance!

The 2 breathers you reference, back of oil tank, lower; and back of engine, actually are to be hooked together with one hose. Sorry don'r know the dimensions.

The lower oil tank spigot from the seperator feeds the chain oiler in the transmission cavity. Conversely, if the trans hose is left off, oil will blow out of there onto the tire.
