Hello from me.
« on: September 07, 2015, 11:16:23 AM »
Hello everyone. Introducing myself here. davido.Ive been a fan of sohc/4s for many years now. I have a 500 that I bought over 30 years ago,though its not been on the road for a long time and is sitting in pieces in my old mans shed. Alongside my 550f which I restored (I use the word very loosely),maybe 20 years ago and still gets me from here to there.
 I also have a CBX750 which Ive owned for about 20 years and is one of the best bikes Ive ever had. Unfortunatley its past its sell by date and sits unused outside my house.It still runs (though I need to clean out the carbs) but it is very noisey now and suffers from that old CBX affliction of a loose alternater chain and god knows what else. Also the brake caliper pistons are pitted and rusted. So,as I needed a reliable daily ride to get me to work and back ,I retired the CBX and bought a Bandit. Im also busy building a Kawasaki caferacer project type thing,which you can have a look at if youre interested,here;

 Anyway,thats it. I love bikes and I hope that Im not offending people by typing the words 'Bandit' and 'Kawasaki' on this forum. If so,Ill get my coat.
 Ill fill out the profile thing soon. Thanks for having me.

Welcome!

I had CBX750 in nineties when I lived in Prague.  That was a great bike.
