Sleeve O'Rings

Does anyone have a good method to seat these o'rings.  It looks so easy on hackaweek.  Every time I get one to seat, by the time I get the cylinders on the pistons, they slip down.  Thanks for any suggestions.

Assembly lube or STP on the o-rings. Both are sticky like goo.

Put them on dry.  I used a small sliver of wood to seat them in their groove...

Use some case sealer to seal them and hold them in place. If you roll them on they may twist and want to un-roll on you.

On my drag bike they had rolled down and gotten chewed to pieces.
