eBay Feedback Filter
« on: October 28, 2006, 02:42:35 PM »
Ever tried to scan the pages of feedback left for some eBay sellers when you only want to see the negatives (I always check - even those with 10000+ f/b)

Found this: http://www.toolhaus.org/cgi-bin/negs

Why don't eBay offer something as useful as this?

A good idea Steve,
I just had a deal go sour, but I HAD read the buyers feedbacks,
or so I thought. Many buyers left the seller bad feedback but used the
"positive" button! Beats me why.
Is this a new trend?

Thanks for the link Steve. When I check someone's feedback I'm mostly interested in their negatives and their responses to it. With ebay's arrangement that's often a PITA when you're dealing with a high volume seller.

I've been using that one for awhile Steve, and yeah, it's very handy to see what an Ebay seller receives, and also leaves for us buyers! Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Steve, I appreciate the scoop and will use it.  Between the pointy heads and pointy pencils at ebay, they could figure out how do do this, so they must not want customers to have it.  There are several things wrong with the ebay feedback system, and my guess is that ebay wants their feedback system to give buyers the warm and fuzzies and nothing more.
