Any engine assembly videos for a CB350F?
« on: August 10, 2015, 11:31:28 PM »
So I'm in the process of rebuilding my 350f engine. I have all the parts, tools, and chemical products (bonding agents, oils, lubes, cleaning agents, etc). I also have a clymer manual and an OEM manual. All I need now is a video of someone else or pictures of a step by step process of assembling the engine.

I'm currently trying to do a mock assembly without Honda Bond so I don't screw up. Where I'm stooped at currently is assembling the two case halves with the transmission and the gear shifting mechanism. Nothing wants to go where it should. The 3 gear shifting forks are impossible  to position from any way I approach and I'm passed following the manuals. Reassembling the two is like fitting sweaty hands into latex gloves, it just won't go in right.
Serious help needed go easy on the sidebar.

unless you can find them on youtube, your honda shop manual is your best guide.

I had another post about this but if anyone is wondering the case halves must be assembled upside down. The transmission and the gear shifting mechanism must be fitted together in the top case half. Then you can apply the bonding agent, the bottom half, and start torquing the bottom M8 bolts once the bonding agent is ready adhere.
