Seat pan bumpers.
« on: September 01, 2015, 07:32:58 AM »
All,

I’m stripping my bike of most all components that cannot be restored or repaired.  The rusted out seat pan in one of them.  I have removed the plastic tool compartments and so forth.  My question before the trash runs, typically are seat pans sold with the rubber bumpers?  While I can cut these out of this pan, they don’t look like they are meant to be replaceable.

Thanks
Ace

You dont cut them out - gently prize them out by pushing the mushroom heads through and definately keep them just in case!

+1 if they are stuck lift up an edge and spray with a little WD40 twist to work it in.
