So I've inherited my first motorcycle, a Honda CB550, that has been sitting through rain and heat for 15+ years
. Instead of doing an engine swap I would like to keep the original engine and just rebuild it. I've heard these motors aren't very hard to rebuild, and I just cant justify spending $1000+ to have a shop rebuild it for me when I can just buy a guide and do it myself over the weekend. Are there any books,manuals, or guides that anyone here can recommend that can walk me through the rebuild step by step? I'm looking for something that is specific to a cb550 engine rebuild.
