So long as it has lots of sunlight it seems to do a decent job.

Thanks for warning had no idea.  As for the pole just wanted some different interesting angle.

I totally get that interesting camera angles make a huge difference in the quality of your videos. I've been playing around with some different mounts and angles lately as well. I even went so far as to make my own telescopic selfie pole that mounts to the triple tree steer tube. Big mistake! Never mount extension poles to critical steering components. Mount them to the frame instead.

Check out the video to see why. LOL,  ;D

Holy Cow!  You almost went down dude!  Guess the unicorn GoPro mount will never make it to market.  Great video though.  You got some video making skills there.  Digging your tank / side mount.

GoPro is lowering the price for a 1080p 60fps camera to $200 may be worth it if you factor in the editing software.

If known I would have to spent a day trying to find editing software for Ubuntu I may have reinstalled windows and bought this.  60fps gives slow mo option.

Wow Jimmy, that did not look like fun. Last time I had a true tank slapper it did not end well.

WOW Jim, glad you made it out ok. So you think the selfie pole caused that? From the wind?

Not from the wind but from whipping around at full extension.
Just like a true tank slapped, it keeps increasing inintensity.
Kinda like harmonics. I was just glad I got it settled before disaster struck.

I know this isn't what you were thinking... but drones + bikes are a good combo!

Found another good use for my SJ4000 video recording my me sandblasting a battery box.  The protective case did a good job of protecting the camera from ricochets which is impressive considering my blaster is powered by 185 CFM compressor so powerful it ripped my leather welding glove apart.  Ouch!  That hurt.

This little camera takes a lickin' and keeps on ticking.  Well worth the $100 to my door.
