Anyone know where to get these CB550 K airbag parts?
« on: August 31, 2015, 05:34:02 PM »
I am not even sure if these can be purchased new anymore. I checked Bike Bandit and its not even offered anymore.

I need the nuts and bolts that attach the airbag filter chamber to the airbag chamber.

Anyone have any idea where I can find these?

You can basically use some 6mm bolts with the 10mm hex head and nuts to match. Thats more or less all they are.

Bikebandit carries most of those bolts new. Check out their site. And, that would be "airbox", right?   ;)

Oh, man, thanks SohRon!  I just spent the last 2 days searching all over my bike looking for the airbag and was getting mad that some SOB had stolen it!  ;D

That is an airfilter box, not airbag.

Bike bandit no longer carries the lower bolt for the airbox.

I've checked it out and don't think my Mother In Law has anything to do with your bike.

I get my replacement hardware from Ace.  honda's microfiche is wonderful about listing hardware sizes along with item/part numbers.
