I've found the time to mount them yesterday.
And drove it today, all is good! Bit harder to mount then the old cracked ones though :)

but bike runs and pulls good so they do their job well!
Good deal

let me get back to this...

put some more miles on the bike with the new boots...
Don't buy them, they are rubbish.

get soft when bike is getting hot and let air through even with all new clamps.

had air leaks all over en would keep on revving when idling.

Mounted the old ones, problem solved..

Interesting. Theses insulators (scroll down to late K and F2 pieces)  http://www.vintagecb750.com/products/6/fuel-system/54/carb-holders-air-box-rubber-boots-clamps
look OK (I have a set on hand). I haven't used them but the material feels close to OEM. I have seen other reproductions that weren't very good (to soft right off the bat). Any way you could post some close up pics of your pieces?

Are these two sets from the same manufacturer? I have over 1000 trouble free miles on two different sets that both came from http://www.vintagecb750.com ...

Mike,

I just bought a set from CB750 supply also. Although they are soft, they seem to be rigid enough that I would feel comfortable using them. Glad that Wilbur can attest to road miles because it makes me feel more confident in using them.

Anything new on F2 carb boots?
