I have a refurb'd Transistor Ignition that got filled with water. I gave the owner a new one, had to replace a couple of parts on this one to get it up to 'snuff' again.
It had an extra hole drilled into the case, which I put a screw in to close up. The Green ground wire is about 4" shorter than stock, so on a 750 it will need to be mounted under the battery tray (like shown in my book) to reach all the way (he cut it off...). On a 500/550/400F/350F it should just fit, or on any Honda/Kawi/Suzy Twin it will fit just fine as is.
I'm donating it as a "Site Support" fundraiser. It will have the 5-year warranty (it only was used for 2 months), but is a little cheaper than the full price. If you will DONATE to the SOHC4 site at least $55, I'll send it to you. Your name must appear on the "Donations" listing for all to see.
Please post back here or PM me, so I can release it to the first one who donates, lest you get "ripped" off? I only have one right now. I am working on another one, a similar situation, maybe in January it will be done.
