Paddock stand adaptation- Rear
« on: August 16, 2012, 08:51:22 AM »
I made provision to work on my CB750 Cafe with no center stand by adapting
a Paddock stand.
I bought hooks from a hardware store and welded them on.
You can also by the paddock stand with hooks or pads.
I made the mistake of getting the rubber pads that go under the swing arm. Big mistake O' Grande. The bike nearly slid right off of the hard rubber pads!
I got the longer metric bolts for the shocks with smooth shoulder at NAPA auto parts store. The bolt is 10mm.

You buy the spools separately and different colors are available.
For a search use the word "spool" Paddock stand.

Here are pics of my set up.
