Anyone have experience with Diablo Cycles?
« on: September 09, 2015, 11:31:44 AM »
I found them online looking for a kill switch.

They offer Japanese made repro parts. I saw a 750 K seat that looks like the real thing. Pricey but nice. They have a site map that lists everything they have. lots of kawi triple stuff, and numerous other non- Japanese models.

That's a somewhat high price for a repro switch.

It looks like Cognitomoto sells the same repro switch for $48 versus $75

Diablo seems to be the parent Company of Reproduction Decals. They are in London Ontario. Having ordered decals from an outfit in Masssachusets, I come to find out they order from Reproduction Decals in Canada. After a couple of phone calls to the US outfit and a long wait for my decals, I was fed a line of bovine fecal matter. I found this out by calling Diablo. My call to Canada was answered by a knowledgeable and friendly young lady. My decals arrived earlier than promised. In my experience, Diablo is super to deal with. The decals are of superb quality. I will only order from them directly without going through a liar in the US. BTW, you will not find Honda decals on their website. This, I understand, is because the descendants of Mr Soichiro H. raised a copyright stink. If you ask, they will send what you need.

Too bad we don't know who the overseas supplier is for all this stuff we could just buy direct from them.  I noticed the prices on allot of these reproduction parts have been dropping.

I think the OEM ones are higher quality and worth the money if you can get them.  All the little bits and pieces inside those switches make a big difference.

Yes Diablo Cycle is Reproduction Decals i have visited them in person and there nice people to deal with. Honda isnt there primary stuff but they do have a good selection of parts. they also seem to be a re-seller for Z1parts.net.

One note with them they still do all the Honda decals they used to but Honda didnt like them reproducing there trademarks or something of the like so they had to take the stuff off the site but just call and enquire and they should be able to set you up

Hey, thanks for the info re Repro Decals. I hadn't discovered them. On the topic of decals, I did find these guys,

https://cbdecals.afegraphics.com/index.php?adminshopping=&cat_id=101&catname='1982 cb750c Blue/Blue Model'

Looks like they have a pretty extensive assortment and complete kits for those of us doing a full repro.

Looks like a good selection there but they sure are pricey.  It appears you can get the same things from these guys for around half the price.

Thanks for that. I was thinking the Diablo was cheap compared to the e-bay at $99.
