Good luck on your ride out Dave, I'm very envious, I have to work.
Hope to have a run out on Sunday though, but only local.

Cheers Mal, I’m loving this one,  ;D I’ve not done it for years but it’s just an awesome road and all the caravans should be gone by now I hope! :o Or I’m going to be well pissed off when I get home. :-[
Enjoy your Sunday jaunt …I’m sure you will! ;)

For those around here who really want to ride we've had some 'interesting' weather. Snow yesterday. It's pissing with rain as we speak and the forecast for Monday is +18c!!

I was on a road like that in Snowdonia last year driving along thinking how breathtaking it was and what a wonderfull ride that would make on a bike when some nut case ripped past me on a corner in a hopped up sports car. It was an aluminum shell on frame with open wheels covered with motorcycle type fenders. It sounded like it was a V8 and he appeared to "own" the road. He was long gone in a flash. When I pulled over a little while later, I could hear him wind it out somewhere way off in the distance

Ever seen him or did he end the pain?

Absolutely breathtaking!
Time is short!

I'm jealous.  2 weeks ago, I was freezing my tail off in 45 degree weather.  Now that it's 20+ degrees warmer at home, I'm doing temporary duty in Alaska for 2 weeks.  Here's hoping the weather holds out for all of us that haven't given up for the season.

Sadly, I'm in Alaska on business and my ride is ~4000 miles away from me right now.  Next week maybe.  I hope the weather holds back home.
