 Look at this Stev-o. I thought I might be a Z1 owner. Stumble across this on CL last night. Seller had it listed as a 1973 KZ900 original except for pipes. Ran when stored years ago. The listing showed it had been put on CL 3 hrs earlier. It was only about 15 min away from me so I  picked up the phone and called the number listed. No one answered so I left a message but never heard any thing back. First thing this morning I checked CL and the add had disappeared. I guess it was a good thing because I didn't have room for it anyway. But I dont think it was listed correct. I think 1976 was the first year of the KZ model and the tank paint looks more like a 1974 or 75 Z1 900 not a 1973. And I dont think the bikes came with dual frt disc either. I would of went and checked it out if the seller had called back. I guess the bike had sold already. You never know I might of brought it home room or no room

Def not a 73. That looks like my old 74.

Could be a '73 with later model bodywork.  VIN would tell ya. Correct - '76 was the first year of the KZ, same basic 900 motor with smaller Mikunis. Was there a price?

The same thing had crossed my mind also Stev-o. Mighty cheap for a Z1 . Like the old saying goes * If something looks to good to be true than it more than likely is*
