CB500 and CB550 manuals
« on: September 21, 2015, 05:09:49 AM »
The quality of some of the pages on the 500 & 550 manuals that are shared on the site was pretty spotty, so I purchased an original 1972 Honda CB500 Shop Manual and a 1977 CB550 Shop Manual.  I have scanned the 500 manual into a single PDF document and it is shared publicly on my Google Drive.  I'm going to leave the document up as a shared file indefinitely so help yourself to the download if you wish.

The 550 document was a bound document so I'm going to take it apart tonight and I'll scan it and upload it tomorrow.

Good that pages 7 and 8 (adjustment carbs) are there. You'll find all manuals and Part Lists at Honda4fun.com. http://www.honda4fun.com/materiale-documentazione-tecnica/shop-manual

Yeah, the manuals are on this site as well but I just hate having everything in separate PDF files and some of the pages were really hard to read.  So I figured I'd save them into a single PDF and get better quality scans.

it's good to have a complete set, thanks resto fan!
hope some mod will move this into the manuals section as the PDFs there are incomplete, as delta mentions.

Actually this here site offers the Honda Shop Manual in the highest resolution with brilliant pics. Unfortunately pages 7 and 8 are missing. I'd hoped someone would correct this. Glad to see yours is complete.
BTW, although the Italian site Honda4Fun offers a very good collection of Shop Manuals, Wiring Diagrams and Parts Lists, there are still some documents like Owner's Manuals missing. I call on all of you to help to complete the collection. If you have a document that is still missing, scan yours and send it to Honda4Fun.com. For instance, who has Owner's Manual CB550 76? Don't think these manuals are all equal. They are not. I've detected quite some differences that had to do with modified parts, so please help.

I don't have the Owners Manual for 76-78 but I do have the 550 Service Manual for 76-78.  That's the one that I'm taking apart right now so that I can scan it and upload it tomorrow.
