broken choke mechanism
« on: September 21, 2015, 11:41:06 AM »
I bought a set of carbs for $50 thinking I would try and rebuild them for another CB350F build this winter considering I have enough spare parts for about 75% of another bike. So far I've gotten the floats removed without breaking a post  :D, (it took me a couple weeks of patiently soaking and persuading with heat and cold. I also got the jets and seats out. they will have to be replaced :(. But then I discovered the choke mechanism was broke off on the back side. Anyone have one laying around? Maybe I'll have to manufacture a new piece.

I assume the detent plate has fallen off and been lost, so you can't weld it back on? maybe Harrisluv (?) the carb parts guru has a lever available?
