Tell me what you guys think because I'm not sure what to do.
I bought a K3 750 this summer off of ebay (with title and all) and quickly re-sold it a month later because I found something that was nicer and cheaper (K4 750).
So here is where it get kinda strange. I sold the bike to a guy going cross country picking up old bikes he bought on ebay. He and another guy are sending the bikes back and making so good dough. He emails me a couple of days ago saying that the bike was seized because it was stolen!! I'm assuming the bike were being inspected because they were being shipped over. They probably were running the numbers on all the bikes and found that this one was stolen! You can imagine my suprise when he contacts me wondering why I sold him a stolen bike.
I still had the name, phone number, ebay username, and address from the guy I picked the bike up from; so I handed it over to the guy I sold it to. What I don't understand is how the guy gave me the title to the bike if it was stolen? Does this mean he stole the title and the bike, or probably made a counterfit title. What do you guys think? Was it dumb for me to turn over the information of the guy I bought it from?
