  • Bike almost back to the 70's 2015
I saw a bunch of Big Dogs at a local bike club's weekly meet. Both I and wife really want one!
They do not cost that much in USA, but the import costs will add too much...

Someone has to make the deal with seller, ship to harbour with all docs OK. Fetch it here, do the registration with tests etc..

I have seen some in Sapphire blue that will match my CB750. Mastiff with seat for a passenger is my kind of bike. I have never ridden one, I understand that the comfort is not like the CB750.

This is a true WOW bike!!  I have to investigate how to import one for minimum fees.

  • The 70's! SOHC4 Honda's & Marcia Brady of course.
Their was a Big Dog dealer in my home town at one time. Think the bikes were built in Kansas but think they have been closed and out of production a few years now. Most bikes were powered by the S&S  117ci v twin engine. Never had urge to get one myself Pewee but if like them go for it ;) No doubt about it the Dog would be a different ride than the CB ::)

Probably not so good for my travels. But with one of these, I would get a lot of exercise carrying the bike around the turns.

Ha-ha-ha, the curvy alp roads are not for that kind of bike :)
The longer wheelbase need another driving technique. I asked two of the guys that ride choppers and they say it's no problem. But they have done it since 40 years back in time.... One have his own built HD chopper with a really long fork and spectacular rake.

The bikes are really beautiful and technical pĂece of art.
More than double displacement than my CB750 with halph numbers if pistons. Each stroke must be noticed :)

The 2003 model that Stev-O linked to look like it can handle alp roads too!

I like the later models in Sapphire blue.
It is a pity that they closed down Big Dog company april 2011. The worst economical period globally was over. My company asked people to quit during late 2009 and 2010... Then better.
