Brake Master Cylinder Cap (Japanese?)
« on: April 09, 2005, 03:17:03 AM »
I've had my 500 for 3 years now and always wondered about the cap on my brake master cylinder.

Anyone seen anything like this before?  (Any ideas as to what it says?)

My mother-in-law reads and speaks Japanese. She said it says Disc Brake- Please use brake fluid.

Hey Steve
Would it be possible that your bike was a gray import ie. sold new in the far east then shipped to the U.K.?I remember years ago in Germany there was someone who worked in Thailand and brought his Bol`Dor back from there and everything was in original Japanese script.

According to Bryan Jones I have a '71 frame with a '73 K2 engine. The engine was never officially imported to the UK so could be a complete NA import at some stage.
Still doesn't explain the Japanese cap though...
