It seems to be a little known resource that Service Honda has the Honda Parts System available online:
Service Honda Interactive Parts ApplicationIt's not fiche. As far as I can tell, it's the same MS Windows application that the Honda dealers use. You must use Internet Explorer, and you have to enable ActiveX for that site. I loathe Internet Explorer, and hate the idea of ActiveX even more; however, the application is worth it.
Once you've connected, start by clicking on the "book" button on the upper left, and that'll get you started on opening a parts catalog for a specific year/model. Then, you can go through the parts diagrams and parts list to find what you want.
Now, comes coolness. After picking the part you want, click on the button above that has a paint brush and a question mark, "Where Used." A dialog will be displayed, and if the part is used in different years, it'll show, "Found in
n Catalogs." Click on "OK," and you get to see what years/models use the same parts. There's lots of other stuff you can do, and lots of ways to do it, but that's a quick way to figure out what years/models a part will fit.
