Funny that, Moms must be fairly universal - thats the stuff we got when we were nippers in Ireland.

One extra thing, my Mom had three ways of answering a request from us for something, that while not being an outright refusal, generally meant it was never going to happen.

They were "We'll see" , "Soon" and  "Maybe". Those words were the kiss of death on any of our shenanigans.

My mom was a treasure RIP Mom 1927 - 2004.
