all balls neck bearings/ 77 cb400F Any tips?

 The title says it all, I've done 750's I assume it's the same deal but it never hurts to ask an expert. I have the old races removed but haven't opened the all balls yet.
No matter how many times you paint over a shadow, it's still there.

  I got it done, it's just like the 750's, the same part number and everything. I used the thin washer, I wish there was a thinner one, it left about 4 threads above the top bearing for the spanner nut. With no spacer it appeared the stops would rub.  Somehow I broke the hi/low beam switch button dangit.

I had to use a thick spacer under the lower race, could have been thicker. Other than that it was straight forward swap to mount a 90 CBR600f front end on my 77 400f.
