Bummed over Ebay Seller

There a sale on Ebay of parts off a 550. Seller lives in Denver, I write him to ask if he'd sell the whole bike to me....and he replies "everything is on e-bay"...thought that was unkind. Then I noticed he raised the price of EVERYTHING by almost double. That's ok-no one's bidding.
I mentioned to my DH that I needed a "parts bike" and he didn't even flinch!
But I really want to find a 6 cylinder...so I may wait and watch for that over the next year.
Linda
I'm just bummed by e-bay seller. Is this normal?? Seemed real "unfriendly" to me.

Course if he had already listed the whole bike it would be rude to sell it and terminate the listing. What with the ebay fee's and such. Perhaps if he doesn't sell he might be more willing to deal. Don't despair theres lots of good deals out there.

I'v never been a "seller" on e-bay, so I didn't realize...I guess the seller incurs the charges when you LIST?
Also, I realized that the work to take bike down to bits is done...so that is another reason.
Thanks for the info

Yup, when you click the list it, the moneys as good as gone expecially if you have a reserve which drives the cost up a bunch.
Howdy Linda, not up in the middle of the night?
