Who knows what Honda this tank belongs too?
« on: October 29, 2015, 12:43:58 AM »
Does anyone know what Honda this is from?

It looks like a CB350 K0, but the mounting "cups" in the front are different, and the breather on the cap confuses me. It might not be the correct cap.

The petcock is also NOT the screw on type.

I bought it just in case for my K0 CB350 Supersport.

My rides:
1972 Honda CB750K2 - To be restored
1975 Honda CB400 Four Supersport - Supertramp - Cafe-resto in progress
1976 Honda Cb400 Four Supersport - Running well, needs TLC.
1978 Honda CX500 Cafe Racer - The Freeburger - Completed
1979 Honda CX500 - Cafe Racer build in progress.
1983 Honda CX500 - Mono shock cafe build in progress.
1984 Honda XL200R - Restoration
1989 Kawasaki KDX200 - Restoration

Legend? not nearly! ipad wont let me post pics here. Lost all my bookmarks when my computer died. There is another website that details all the Hondas, all the years, details, colors, etc. Maybe it will come to me, or someone else will post it.

BikePics isn't a last word reference. I have seen bikes missorted there plenty. I think the picture poster gets to pick where his photo is placed. Motorera is much better at the details, but the pictures aren't better.

Yes, but the CL175 looks exactly the same with the same white stripe.

The 90 and 175 tanks are styled the same, but
- the stripe on the 90 wraps around the lower front edge of the tank
Lens tank and the 175 tank stripes stop short of the lower edge
- The 90 has a left side petcock
Lens tank and the 175 tank have a right side petcock
