New from WV
« on: October 14, 2015, 12:47:55 PM »
Hello all! I've been lurking a couple of months soaking in all the great information posted here, so I figured I should do an intro. I picked up my very first motorcycle recently, a CB750K3. I've never worked on a bike before, so this has been quite the experience. Using the invaluable information from you guys, I have disassembled, cleaned and rebuilt the carbs, flushed the front brake (there was literally sludge in the caliper), and am currently working on the ignition system. I recently discovered it was not firing on cylinder one and the cable had been poorly spliced, so I just finished putting new cables in the stock coils (yay rotary tool cutting wheel) and filling them back with hot glue as I hate cutting through epoxy if I ever have to do it again. Hopefully I'll have time to finish the tuneup before it gets too cold to ride. I have found my new addiction ;)
I know everyone likes pics, so here they are.
